​Contemporary Art Gallery in Morton, Illinois

MUSE Gallery is Morton's premier contemporary art space, showcasing talented artists from Peoria, Central Illinois, and beyond. MUSE features a wide variety of art from moody oil landscape paintings to contemporary ceramic pieces to metal work to bright abstracts and everything in between! All art at MUSE is one-of-a-kind. 

Beginning March 16, 2026 we will kick off our fourth season!  Hours are Wednesday-Friday from 10-4 in addition to Fourth Fridays (4th Friday of every month) from 5-8 pm.

Fourth Fridays

Join us for Fourth Friday art events from 5-8pm, March through November, featuring new exhibitions and Peoria-area artists. Fourth Fridays are a wonderful, casual chance to see the art and socialize with other people who appreciate art.  Stop in any time from 5-8 pm for hors d'oeuvres and drinks while enjoying the new art. We often have special guest artists on those nights.  Our wheelchair accessible gallery welcomes art lovers from throughout the Peoria region.

Artist Submission Process

  If you'd like to show your work at MUSE please do NOT stop by the gallery to discuss or approach us at a Fourth Friday event regarding your work.
